Steps of Sperm Washing
Collecting the Sperm Sample
The sperm sample is collected from the male, either through ejaculation or extraction from the testes in some cases.
Preparing the Washing Solution
The washing solution used in sperm washing consists of safe, non-toxic solutions such as HEPES buffer or culture media.
Mixing the Sperm Sample with the Solution
The sperm sample is mixed with the washing solution.
Centrifugation
